“It is either removed or taken to a landfill.” There has been there for years, in the courtyard of an old Milanese railing house, left perhaps by some lovers who eloped so quickly after a romantic night: that old racing bicycle, a steel frame by a Venetian craftsman with an identification number that said so much indeed, “48” stamped under the pedals.
