At the Pala Gianni Asti in Turin, after yesterday’s play-offs and matches in Serie B and C started, the season ended with the sixth final of the National Championship – San Carlo Veggy Good Trophy – the most awaited event on the federation calendar, which brought the best Italian gymnasts to the capital of Piedmont .

Six companies and three head-to-head matches impressed many spectators who came to enjoy the show. Associazione Sportiva Udinese and Polisportiva Varese faced each other in Group A, where the Friulian club defeated the Lombard side. Then Pala Giani Asti exploded with joy with his arrival on the platform of Eurogymnica Torino: the home team was able to count on great support from the crowd in the match against the great favorite Fabriano. An exciting and enticing race that saw five-time world champion Sofia Raffaele, along with her teammate, Milena Baldassare, finish sixth at the Tokyo Games. The semi-finals concluded with the third and final round, which saw Moto Viareggio defeat Armonia D’Abruzzo Chieti.

The final did not disappoint expectations. The athletes Ginnastica Fabriano, Udinese Sports Association and Motto Viareggio put on a real show where there was no shortage of adrenaline and amazing performances. Led by the “Vulcano of Chiaravalle” Sofia Raffaele and Melina Baldassare, the gymnast Fabriano won the historic 7th championship – in a row and overall – in front of the raging crowd, a real ‘curve’ of fans that came straight from the Marches, including the mayor of Fabriano. Big celebrations also for Motto Viareggio who finished second, leaving Udinese behind. Also celebrating is Polisportiva Pontevecchio Bologna, newly promoted to A1.
