The best provinces in the ranking are distributed between southern and central Italy: Barletta-Andrea-Trani and Brindisi take first class, in Puglia, Grosseto and Pisa, in Tuscany, Ravenna, Reggio Emilia, Emilia-Romagna and Ragusa, in Sicily. “In these seven provinces, there is no municipality left without bank branches,” says Colombani.
On the second step is Bari and Livorno. Mantova is in third place, followed by Siena, Venice and then Modena.
