Landini and Bombardieri put pressure on CISL

Filca Cisl’s absence stood out in the five building yards yesterday morning. On Friday, the remarks of General Secretary Enzo Pelli were very self-explanatory of the differences with the other two Confederation unions: “On Superbonus, the Meloni government is heading in the direction we ask” while in the new procurement and subcontracting code he argued that “it is an issue that we see quite positively”, “The system is structured well”.

If Vito Panzarella (Feneal Uil) and Alessandro Genoversi (Fillea CGIL) still hope to restore unity – “I won this battle with consistency and unity” – on the Confederate front, the timing of the March 23rd “unilateral mobilization path” ( March) is good timing. Ten days ago – still a long time. At the moment, the only thing agreed upon is standardized gatherings in all workplaces, but they have not started yet.

Tomorrow Maurizio Landini, Pierpaolo Bombardieri and Luigi Sparra will meet again. But the meeting does not necessarily lead to a joint decision. CISL continues to postpone the national demonstration that was supposed to take place on a Saturday in May to the Greek calendar. At the moment, the most likely date for the Cisl Council is June 17, while regional events are not excluded.

At the moment the word strike does not appear in the vocabulary of CISL announced in recent months very few and has already slipped many words implemented by CGIL and UIL, especially in the air transport sector.

On the other hand, both CGIL and UIL shudder. Landini and Bombardieri yesterday exchanged views on a kind of ultimatum to CISL: If Sbarra’s positions are too weak on Monday, CGIL and UIL could decide to speed up on their own. Re-proposing the pattern of the last two strikes: General against the Draghi government (national strike on December 16, 2021) and against the Meloni government (regional strikes).
